Default Unable to reload photos in camera

The subject is a little misleading but I have uploaded some photos into my
camera so I could hook it up to the TV and show some photos to an interested
party. The majority are OK but I get the error message "file error" on some
of them and the screen will not show them. I used to have David Taylor's
program and another program and I could rectify the problem somehow. I
don't have the foggiest notion anymore as to what I did but it worked! I
have since changed to Vista, which I regret, and I no longer have those
programs. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. The camera
is a Sony DSC-F828 and I have the latest drivers downloaded for Vista.

Generally the camera won't like the upload if you've processed it thru'
editing software. It's a good idea to save the originals, just upload those.
