I am looking for the smallest / slimmest digital point and shoot camera to
replace my stolen Panasonic FX-01.
Should I go for the FX33 or I have seen the Casio S880 which is slimmer and
overall smaller and @ 8MP is surely sufficient.
I stress that small and light is the most important criteria for this camera
as it has to be carried around unobtrusively as often as possible.
I also looked at the 12MP Panasonic - FX100 but that is a bit larger.
Is Casio an ok product ?

I don't know if they're slim enough for you but the Canon SD models
are mighty fine small cameras, especially with the stabilization.

The Ricoh R6 is about the same size as the FX01, possibly even a bit
slimmer, yet it has a 28-200 zoom and various extra features. (Same goes
for newer R7).
The FX01 itself was superceded by the FX07 I think, with 7Mpix sensor
but more heavy handed noise reduction, otherwise I think it is the same.
Probably its been superceded yet again by now, you know how it is.
It's possible to pick up FX01's on ebay for about 2/3 the new price, in
fact I was thinking of selling mine, but OTOH it is a very cute and easy
to use camera so I'm not certain I want to part with it even though I
now have a much better specified (but somewhat larger) camera.
