Surprise Rebate check from Corel

Last January I bought a copy of Paint Shop Pro XI at Fry's, which
included a form to submit for a $50 rebate. After a couple of months I
hadn't received a check, so I dug out my file copy to send a followup
email. I was abashed when I found in my file the material I should have
sent--original UPC, etc cetera. I realized that I had mailed in what was
supposed to be my file copy in error; I just threw it all away, as it
was well past the submission deadline and the problem was on my end. I
was shocked when the mail came a few minutes ago and there was a $50
check from Corel! I assume that they reviewed the erroneous material
that was submitted and found that no one had submitted the original UPC,
so they sent me a check. With all the reported hassles about rebates, I
thought that I should post this. Thank you, Corel!
