Default Still shots from Sony Hadycam

Kia Ora
I have recently purchased a Sony HDR-UX7E Handycam with 6.1 Mega Pivel
Still Image facility. I am very impressed by the quality of the images
obtained, more than equal to my similar rated dedicated point & shoot!
Have others had a similar experience?
Mac

Nope.I have a sony dcr hc32-e and takes good videos but only VGA stills,640
X 480, I have never taken stills with it since I have an 7 MP still
camera.Mine cost 500 euros but I bought it for 350.

Can you post a link to some of those photos? Without seeing them it is
difficult to judge the technical quality.
