About two years ago I bought a Sanyo Xacti S4 (Optical 2.8X Zoom, 4.0
Megapixels) camera when I purchased high-speed internet. The camera
worked great, had excellent battery life and everything. But now, for
a couple of months, the battery life is terrible. I'm using the same
brand I did those years ago, Panasonic Alkaline Plus AA (No Mercury).
Pretty much, I can only get about 3 pictures per set of batteries if I
use the flash, and about 10 if I keep the flash off.
I do remember dropping the camera once on a vinyl floor, which knocked
the lens out of place (or something near there) by unscrewing it and
putting it back together.
The camera's warranty is already voided, as I think it was only valid
for a year, and a week ago I took it completely apart and back
together to see if there was any damage but it hasn't worked yet.
Do you recommend I buy a new camera? What's the name of that new
10.2MP camera, maybe I'll get that. Could it be my camera is bitting
the dust? I'm not sure the average life of a camera.
