Can anyone help? I am considering purchacing a Samsung GX10. In all
the reviews and specifications it states that the Storage Driver
(Windows 2000/ME/XP, Mac OS 10.2 or later) Does this mean that the
GX10 is not compatiable with Windoes Vista? Will I have to hunt for
new drivers etc?
If you are referring to connecting the camera to the computer and using it
as a USB device: as long as you have set the camera up properly (see
instructions) it should be recognized by Vista.
However it will still be Vista.

Thx for this
I guess using the SD card will be no problem anyway - I have no probs
currently with the point and shoot.
Just don't want to spend all the dosh and find I got to tweak things
to get them to work!

With vista, it's hard to tell. If it presents itself as a USB mass storage
device (most recent cameras do), then any modern OS should recognize and
facilitate it's use.
itsa brill bit of kit and better value than Pentax - snobs won't admit that
it's great BUT it is ;-))

Not round here it's not better value. The Pentax can be bought for rather
less than the Samsung at many stores.

In .au it is the Samsung DSLR camera which is considerably cheaper than
the all Pentax version.
I bought the GX10 with Schneider-Kruenach 16-55 lens for $1250 instead
of almost $1600 the K10D with Pentax 16-55 lens (asking for in .au $).
In .au, it is the Pentax K10D DSLR with Sigma lens which is the usual
kit and costs around $1450.
