refurbished digital camera stores online?

Good afternoon,

Could you please recommend some trustworthy online refurbished digicam
resellers?
(I basically need a good P&S with min. 10x optical zoom and optical image
stabilization).
Unless there are any reasons why I should think twice before buying a
refurb?

Why go refurb?
Brand new ones are cheap.

Try the Kodak online store. They have had discontinued P series cameras
for sale for very good prices. Meets your requirements - and it will do
raw as well as jpeg, tiff.

I know folks who claim that refurbished is better than new. Some excellent
models have been discontinued.

I've bought refurbished items, but only those that carry the
manufacturer's warrantee. One way to find these is through
Google shopping. First decide on a short list of cameras
you want.

Why does it matter whether you buy a digicam from a refurbished store?

bhphotovideo.com and keh.com sell used cameras with reasonable
warranties. I've bought used stuff from B&H with good results, haven't
yet dealt with keh.com. B&H has a used Canon S3 IS for $199 right now,
which seems pretty reasonable.
