I've just downloaded some images into a new dated directory and while
Picassa does the usual "scanning" thing and can see the folder in
tools/folder manager, it isn't showing up in the normal folders list. The
only slightly odd thing about the files is that the camera "date" battery
was gone so they are all dated 1/1/2005, but I don't see why Picassa should
object to that. I've repeatedly removed and added the folder with folder
manager and Picassa "scans" ok but still isn't showing them. What am I
missing?
In Picasa, at the top of the part where you can see all the folders
(left-side in Picasa) , click on te button named "tree-view" or someting
like that. (I've a Dutch version of Picasa)
Now you get a normal Windows-explorer view of all your folders
The other button creates a FLAT view and then you'll see folders naed by
Picasa with, in your case, the wrong date !!

Thanks Rob, I thought there had to be an easy explanation. I could thank you
verbally in Dutch, but I wouldn't know how to write it!
