Photos, that were in a specified folder no longer are in it ?

I recently transfered selected photos from different folders to a new
album, the photos that were transfered from the folder appeared in
the newly created album, now when I go to the selected album, the
photos that were transfered are no longer in that album, where are
they, how do I retreive them..Help

Ok, so far we seem to be talking about standard file system components (if
we assume that photos are the same as files). Because you use the term
"folder" most likely you are talking about some version of Windows OS.

"Album" however is a term that is not part of any file system I know of. It
is a custom term used by many photo editing and library system

Unless you tell us _WHICH_ of the many photo editing and library systems you
are using there is absolutely no way of even guessing at what has happened.

If you know the name of at least one of the image files, or
even a part of the name, use the search function of your
computer system to look for the file. Be sure to look in
the Wastebasket folder, in case the files were accidentally
deleted.
