Does anybody know if there is a way to select a custom ICC to use for
exporting JPEG images from Adobe Lightroom? In particular, if I have a
printer profile for a printer [i.e. Costco supplies their color profiles] and
would like to export the images selected in the library, I am only able to
choose from sRGB, AdobeRGB and ProPhotoRGB. Is there a way to add to this
list?
Thanks!

I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong, please) this goes against the
theory of color management.
In color management, numbers in files represent colors _independent of any
device_ and the color space (sRGB, AdobeRGB, ProPhotoRGB, or certain others)
is a way of specifying what the numbers in the files mean.
An ICC profile for a printer or other devices tells you how to convert a
color specification to a set of numbers that will produce that color on the
device in question.
So, I think, Lightroom is correct to not offer device ICCs as options for
export.

I guess that depends whether the ICC is to be used for viewing or printing.
Still, looking more closely at the current documentation that Costco offers,
and it does seem the profile is to be used for viewing/editting and not for
output.
Got my self confused when working with Lightroom [which I am still not really
adept at yet].
Thanks.

drycreekphoto.com has detailed info on how to use the profiles like
the ones for Costco.
I did a search on the Adobe Lightroom forum and the simple answer is
"no". (I had about 100 pictures from a recent trip that I wanted to
print at our local Costco.) What I did is export the pictures and used
Qimage to "print to file" using the Costco ICC Profile. I realize that
it means an additional step but they came out fine.

I find it even easier to just use this http://www.drycreekphoto.com/tools/profile_converter/

Use PhotoLine 32 for your RAW processing then. Assigning an alternate ICC
color-profile is as simple as selecting a different one from the drop-down list
in the Digital-Camera RAW import dialog. (Not to mention that there's not one
RAW file-type that it has ever failed to read properly in my extensive testing
of it.) After you make use the import RAW feature once, then your options are
set as the default anytime you open an image in any other manner, such as
double-clicking from explorer or by using the quicker open-file command. If you
want to change those defaults (color profile, interpolation algorithm,
color-correction, white-balance, curve settings, etc., etc.) just use the Import
RAW feature again. Once a RAW file is loaded (after RAW import or double-click
from explorer, it matters not), you can also just click on the image's
Attributes dialog and change the ICC profile from there too. Or even remove its
color-profile assignment altogether if you so desire.
