Kodak Z650 - camera does not show up in easyshare software

I have a Z650 camera. When I connect it to my PC, it is recognized.
However, it does not show up in the kodak easyshare software and I can
not transfer pictures from it. Any ideas?

Sure - I'd plug it in directly or, more preferable, use a USB card reader.
I use the printer dock with my P850 for charging the battery and printing
the occasional picture - that's all.

Hello,

I've had similar problems, with my own Kodak digicams and EasyShare;
it's quite frustrating, I must admit.

You don't really need the camera's bundled software, to upload images
to your PC, anyhow. Just buy a cheap card reader/writer, and you'll be
on your way to success.
