Why the name change for USA, is S5700 to long?

I think this will be the ZLR in my future, value @AUS$357 [US$290]
here in Oz.What sort of price is it in USA?

Impressed with my new F20, it is a great little camera, using it
heaps, AND IT TAKES GREAT OUTDOOR SUNNY DAY PHOTOS!
