Hello, Pete:
Sorry, man! The awesomeness of my P850 photography is far too great, for
any mortal soul (other than yours truly) to behold. <G>
Seriously, I don't post my pictures, anywhere; I've always been satisfied
with the image quality of all my digicams, nonetheless. The P850 is the best
P&S camera I own and compares quite adequately with my lone DSLR (Pentax
K100D), I believe.
By the way, I find it sad, that people seem to enjoy tarnishing the poor
P850 and its "P" series siblings, even now. They were in production, for
less than two full years and then suddenly disappeared, with no fanfare nor
any public mourning of their demise...it's a cold, cruel world, alas. :-P
I'll continue defending my impressive P850, in any case.

Yes, I was lucky enough to secure a P880 when they were being sold off
cheap, and the quality of the pictures is superb. I too don't give links out
to my photos on forums like these (although I have thousands displayed on
web galleries over the years), due the amount of f***wits on here who take
great delight in boosting their miniscule egos by putting down anybody who
has the temerity to NOT be using a dSLR!
I sometimes wonder if any of these people actually go out and take pictures.
I'm increasingly of the opinion that they're not photographers at all, and
simply come in here to try and justify all the money they've wasted on their
bulky gear.
I'm quite happy with the occasional comment and email praising my picture
taking abilities, without having them dissected to death by the tyre-kickers
on here.

Hello, Fred:
The P880 also features a somewhat bigger image sensor, than do the other "P"
models, from what I've gathered.
Yet, when I bought my P850, in May of 2006, the P880 was still outside my
budget. (I preferred the former's 12x optical zoom and image stabilization,
anyway.)
