Default Digital filter software. Best choices?

Finally broke down and got a new computer and new PS3 and Lightroom
for working in digital photography. Any one have suggestions on the
add-on, after market software like NIK or AlienSkin or any others that
I could add to the Holiday gift lists?

Been shooting for more years than I can care to comment. Now have gone
95% digital and I am learning new things. Wow what a world we are in
now.

To those who respond nicely, thanks in advance.

Those who don't...oh well then.

How much high iso shooting do you do? If more than an occasional shot you
might consider one of the noise reduction programs/plugins, Neat Image,
Noise Ninja, Noiseware, etc. Or maybe a copy of PTLens to automatically
correct for lens distortion.

I don't shoot that much in the higher ISO range. I have played with
the T-max 3200 film a couple of times and had some very nice images
out of that film. So the noise reduction software I might get into if
I find that I am shooting more at a higher ISO range.
What I am looking for is guidence in the next software package to
load up. I like the PR on the NIK software and the fun factor of the
AlienSkin line. Maybe even HDR software. I do like everything in sharp
focus.

Thanks for the reply.
