Default D200 Exif data & flash in CS2 bridge

I was recently looking @ some pictures I had taken in adobe bridge CS2
and noticed that under flash in the Exif data it said:

Flash: Fired, strobe return light not detected.

Is this normal? I thought that the camera should see return light to
estimate the output.

Pictures take with the following camera/settings.
D200
105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor Lens
Apeture priority
Flash built in (set to ttl mode)
ISO 250 1/60th exposure @ f3

Sounds like the flash might have been obstructed for that exposure.

I dont think so but will take some test shots and repost. Will switch
out lenses and tripod see if I can get bounce back. Im assuming a
distance of 5 feet should give me flash back with 105 on Micro & 105
on 18-200 at same focal length. Trying to figure if its the lense, the
camera or my fat fingers.

I believe it may be a problem with how apps read the D200 exif info.
Seems OK on images from my D70 shot with flash, but not my D200. On
the D70it all appears in one line, whereas the D200 has this broken
out over several lines. I looked at photos converted with either
ACR/PSE3 and RSE and viewed in either PSE3/Irfanview/PSP8.
