Colorsync question

In getting ready to scan a pile of slides with my (fairly new) scanner,
I happened to take a look at the color profile stuff (Mac OS X, Microtek
Scanmaker s400).

I opened up ColorSync Utility and under "Profiles" I found a whole list
of various Microtek scanner entries, and also entries for my monitor and
printer.

Problem is, under "Registered ColorSync Devices", although my monitor
and printer have entries, there are no entries at all under "Scanners".

Any idea what's going on or how to fix it?
