Looking at buying my first digital camera...
The main criteria that I have is:
1) Decent Optical Zoom (at least 6x)
2) Pocket sized (even if it's a largish pocket).
3) Budget ~ £150
So far I have come across the Casio EX-V7. This seems to fit all three
criteria nicely, and the (limited) research I've done seems to suggest that
it is a competant camera (certainly enough for a 'happy snapper' such as
myself).
Just wondered if anyone here had any personal experience of this camera,
and/or information on how good a camera it is.
Also, any suggestions as to alternatives that fit the three criteria above.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
(Also posted in alt.comp.devices.digital-cameras - sorry for not
cross-posting)

Thanks for that, though at ~£200 Looks a little expensive, for my budget.
Will keep my eyes open though, and if I can find it a bit cheaper somewhere,
might well be worth considering. Looks bulkier than the Casio one, but its a
bit hard to tell from a photo... need to find somwhere where I can handle
them both.
