Default Canon Introduces New 1200-1700mm f/5.6 Zoom!

It didn't take long for Canon to try to get one up on Nikon again. Canon
comes out of the corner swinging after the severe thrashing and sand kicked
in the face that the newly released D3 and D300 had given them. The last
straw was the new 9-bladed super-teles with VR. Canon engineers were happy
to announce they were ahead of schedule and production starts in spring of
2008.

Pity you can't read, Rita - it's an old Nikon m/f lens with a Canon adapter. Nothing in the story at all about Canon producing such
a lens ...

Rita CAN read... she just DOESN'T BOTHER. Blathering incessantly like
an idiot is much more fun than actually relying on facts.

Lesson 101 for newsgroup awareness.
Never take anything you read seriously.

Lesson 102 for newsgroup awareness.
Never believe anything you read.

Once you get that down pat, the rest is pure enjoyment.

LOL! You mean there are people that would actually put a Nikkor on a Canon?
That is one hell of a lens that makes the old Mk II look great!
