I thought the WiFi frame would use windows media player 11 to
get pictures from. Is this not correct?

That's a known fact of the FAT filesystem. It can only hold 256 entries
in the root directory of a filesystem. Some entries are used by the
system, so about 254files are possible. Subdirectories do not have this
limitation.
But you found the solution: just put the images in a directory, and the
problem is gone.

Yes, looking at the instructions, that should work. I got discouraged
when the recommended downloaded update failed. I'll have to try again.
