Default XPS M2010

Any here have one of these beasts? I have an application where it might
be a good solution, but spending this much money sight unseen worries me
a bit.

Thoughts?

Tom

Looks like this one is going to have to be determined off of review sites
w/user reviews and/or the Dell forums....

Not everyone is so loaded for a system starting at $2900.00.

And with only one year of default warranty. What's up with that.

Reviews are generally positive for the specific purpose for which it is
designed. Universally considered over priced, which I agree, but price
reasonably at the Outlet. I'm going to try the project with my I9300
(17") and if it seems to be working, I'll consider the M2010.

What I am going to use it for is as a TV next to the pool so I can do
water aerobics and watch TV.

Yeah, I know.

Tom

Hi.

I got one of those. It's the greatest mashine I've ever been near to.
Exelent performance, very very nice quality in everything concerned
the mashine. Make sure, you get 2 Gb of RAM and I chanced the HD to 2
x 100Gb 7200 rpm. Just buy it, I'm thrilled over mine.
Sorry for my poor english, I'm danish :-)

/Ole

I'm guessing this was my post you replied to and I did buy it (complete
with 2GB ram, but only needed one hard drive).

It is an incredibly impressive machine and perfect for what I wanted it
for. It gets hours of use a day, mostly on the back porch.
