Default XPS M1330 laptop

Well, I guess the XPS are labeled poorly too

Has anyone seen one of these? My daughter's I6000 died a horrible death
and so I'm going to trickle down my I9300 to her.

Then I get my own new laptop.

I like the size of the M1330 but hate to buy without seeing one. I went
to the kiosk and they said they would have the new models end of July.
What good is that? Makes the kiosk pretty much useless.

Just looking for feedback from someone that has seen one. Not sure
anyone has!

Tom

Was that the i6000 with the possible power connector problem? Did you
ever pop it open or make a determination of the problem?

I haven't seen one, but they look really good. My main objection is
the price including the fact that they start out with a 1.5Ghz Core 2
Duo.

If I were to buy a laptop right now, I would get the Lenovo T61. Right
now there is a "sale" on the Lenovos. You could configure one very
nicely and come in below the XPS M1330.

The 1330 will eventually have the SSD drive as an option.

The connector and motherboard were completely hosed. I could buy a new
I6000 motherboard, but not sure it is worth it.
