xp was first released in october 2001, so it is 5.5 years old.

and you will want a new computer in a few years, won't you?

sadly it lacks lots of support for older hardware, even after being in the
wild for as long as it has... you better find the exact model wireless
adapter you are talking about and look it up on the manufacturers site for
compaibility if that is a deciding factor for you.

Why do you say that? With all the negativity I think it's a good
question. And most of that negativity is from people that have never
even used Vista.

Since you're into corrections, it's 6.5 years old.

How do you know?

This too makes sense. There are still plenty of Win2K installations out
there. I know a few folks that only went to XP when Adobe discontinued
support of it.

i think the horse is a better analogy for vista than the model t. a horse,
like vista, would leave constant 'reminders' its presence in your life.
alternatively the model t would subtle pollute the environment and not
bother you for many years until awaking one day to the realization that the
whole world now suffers from global warming.
