The notice I saw in the local Wal-Mart indicated only the one model of
Dell computer is for sale and no other Dell items are currently for
sale or scheduled to be.
The same notice also said customer demand will drive what if anything
else from Dell is sold.
What did the employees at Wal-Mart say when you enquired?
Lexmark cartridges are probably cheaper and normally usable after a
simple modification to the printer or ink cartridge.

I didn't enquire. I just looked and saw nothing. Actually, I didn't
even see
the Dell computers. Some one did say they had Dell computers tho but not in
the
electronics section - they were out in the middle of some other isle right
when you
walk in the door.

I'm just wondering if they will eventually sell Dell Ink. I have a Dell
printer.
When I run out of ink it would be nice to go to the store and buy a
replacement
instead of ordering it off the Dell site. Have to say tho - Dell is pretty
quick in
shipping ink.

You do realize that Dell doesn't make printers, they buy them from Lexmark.
If you want the ink, enquire.
Even without the notice, I would ask if I wanted something so they
know there is a demand.
Personally if I had a Dell printer, since Dell printers are actually
Lexmark, I would determine which Lexmark cartridge was correct and
then I would use Lexmark in my Dell printer.
