Can someone refresh my memory? I think someone already asked /
answered this but I forgot. If some pc's or laptops switch over to
Vista, will the Vista and remaining XP machines network nicely
together? Or what do I need to do to make them cooperate and share
resources on the same home network?

Sure, they play fine together. I have Vista clients, Vista servers, XP
clients and XP servers. All work just fine.
Remote desktop works between the two as well.

Networking a Vista and a XP machine here. Network Magic made it easy.
Still a few blips here and there.
