I would not expect any difference at all, except for gaming or CAD
applications. The video card is just not that fundamental to the speed
of the basic operating system (for example, boot time), and a card that
can run Aero and already has 128MB of memory (all that Aero or so-called
"Office" applications (e.g. 2D applications)) just isn't holding things
up as far as Windows is concerned. Now if we start talking about heavy
3D applications (e.g. gaming & CAD), that's another matter. But the
question dealt with basic windows stuff and boot time, and the video
card just isn't going to impact that much.
