Default USB problem M1710

Hello all

I have a M1710 and bought the docking station along with a Dell SP2208WFP 22
inch Widescreen that has a usb hub.

The problem I have seems to have started not too long after i bought a
Logitech G9 mouse, when I go on the internet with IE or Firefox and even
some time in windows that I have opened, if the mouse is connected through
the monitor hub or even a stand alone hub, when I change tab or scroll down
pages, the mouse "disconnect", I have to wait about 30 seconds before the
system redetect the mouse and start working again, I also hear the usb
disconnect/reconnect sound when this happens.

If I connect the mouse on one of the free usb port on the left of the
computer it's working fine, but the num lock light on my keyboard that is
still connected on the monitor, is flashing.

Could it be that there is too mutch power that is drawn from the usb
interface ?

Thanks for any reply.

Dan.
