Default successful upgrade of Precision 670 to 2x DC Paxville 2.8Ghz

Just for the records and to help any other desperate soul

Performance gain upgrading: 33% benchmarked using Passmark
PerformanceTest

from: 2x Xeon 3.2Ghz Nocona, EVGA nVidia 7800GTX
to: 2x Xeon DC 2.8Ghz Paxville (different mobo), EVGA nVidia 8800Ultra

Find below the full thread including all details for the upgrade
part number/codes etc etc:

Received absolutely no help from Dell here in Europe. I was sent
from one department to the other ... they did not want to sell me
any part. Dell US though, was by far more helpful but I could
not order anything from them. Ended buying everything from ebay.

regards,
Giovanni
