Default Still no free Vista upgrade

I bought an XPS 710. I requested the Vista upgrade at the end of
February. I received an order number via email. But no charge has been
made to my credit card, and no Vista has been shipped to me.

I called Dell twice. In both cases, the Dell rep stated that
everything was going well, I should just wait.

Does this sound right? Is it time to start using the anger tool?

I think I know what you mean by the anger tool. If it were me, yes --
I would use that.

It is not right for you to have to wait for so long to get your Vista
Upgrade.

Agreed especially since others have gotten theirs.

In case anyone cares, Dell did deliver after all. The upgrade disk
arrived today. I am pleased that I did NOT perform the yelling and
screaming act.

Now that I have obtained my copy of Vista, I am going to put it away
until I really have to upgrade.

Glad you got your copy! Anger doesn't have to come in the form of
yelling and screaming. Mine comes across as very focused
assertiveness :-)

Good idea -- XP is the best place to be if it's your only system.
