Default Sony DVD AW-Q160S After Firmware Update ?

I have not had any problems with my above mentioned DVD Writer until
Flashing it with the new update from the Dell Site. Now when burning a DVD
file such as an ISO movie they always give me an error message when I try to
play them in my DVD player connected to my TV. I can get them to play if I
create a new image file with Nero and then copy it but that takes a lot more
time than before the update. They always played without any errors. I have
an XPS-410 with windows vista and use Nero as my burning software. Like I
said things worked before flashing the firmware.

Anyone else having any problems or is my burner going bad.
