Slow Build Time

Anyone else order a notebook from Dell lately? Are they pretty far behind? I
ordered it on the 12th of Aug and it said it would ship around the 24th and
be delivered on the 30th or 31st of Aug. The last two machines I purchased
were refurbs so they didn't have to be built. Just shipped. But I've read
that there is a shortage of LCD and some other components right now that may
cause delays. I ordered the I 1520 with the black lid. I didn't order any
options that were associated with a delay (as far as I know). I would like
to get the notebook before Labor Day weekend.

I ran into someone who is waiting on an Inspiron 1721 they ordered back on
7/29. Still showing as "in production".
