Default SATA Cable for Dimension 5100

I bought a new SATA drive for my Dimension 5100, but the standard cable
that I bought to go with it sticks right out of the drive in such a way
that I can't put the cover back on. The cable that came with the original
drive has a right-angled connection which avoids this problem.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these right-angled SATA cables
(preferably in the UK) and how much I can expect to pay for them.

Cheers,

Dave...

You need a right angle SATA cable. I'm in the U.S., so I know nothing about
this vendor, but here's a link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150115814324

That's item number 150115814324.

No relation to the seller and I've not dealt with them before, but they
look cheap enough...

try http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/57651 circa £4+postage. They do 'Ebuyer
value' products http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/123023 (78p inc VAT !!!) but
are out of stock, or
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/123999 (£2.99) in stock

Excellent co. to deal with except for their busy phone lines (I use emails to
sort out the few issues I've had). You may want to buy something else while
you're there to mitigate the cost of postage!

HTH, Martin
