Can you return a refurbished or scratch and dent computer if you just
don't like it for some reason?
What then?
I'm considering a 1520 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 anti-glare screen.
There is no way I can see what it looks like ahead of time. My current
E1505 has a shiny screen now and don't like the glare, but do like the
"pop" it has.
I usually look at a nice Samsung 19" 1280x1024 and that has plenty of
pop for me.

Thanks, Christopher. I wasn't completely sure it was so liberal, like
Sears or something.

BTW, what's your opinion on the anti-glare screens on a laptop?
I went to Best Buy to try and find one, with no luck. As a matter of
fact, a lot of the desktops and the shiny screens.
I purchased an NEC 19" shiny screen one time and had to take it back
because it made my eyes buggy. The laptop doesn't make me buggy, but
it sure the heck reflects.

Click on the (blue) "system identifier" for a given system. Scroll down to
the very bottom of the system details pop-up and look for this (this is from
an Inspiron 1520 listing):
Laptop Screen
15.4 inch WXGA Anti-Glare Laptop Screen
If you see "TrueLife" or "Glossy", it's not a matte finish LCD.

I'm returning one this morning.
I had it for 20 days and 23 hours before I called.
They just had a few basic questions but there was no problem at all.
I just didn't it.

Thanks, I know. I was just wondering what the current 1280x800 15.4
1520 laptop looked like in the anti-glare.
I know what the tru-life looks like.
I couldn't find any current anti-glare in the stores to see what they
look like.
