The fan (the bigger of the 2, graphics?) in my Dell M70 is noisy. I bought a
new fan. How hard is it to replace??? I flipped the computer upside down and
removed EVERY screw that I saw. The case started to split but I never could
get it all the way open. I got nervous at that point and buttoned it back
up. Is there a step by step instruction guide somewhere? Was I doing the
right thing? Are there some hidden screws???

on my M60 the Graphics card is located top side.....under the keyboard.
using a thin plastic spatula prize out the bezel that surrounds the
keyboard. This then gives access to screws that attach the keyboard to the
mobo. remove to reveal to graphics card.
a call out tech replaced my card in approx 1 minute...............
I was not looking too close so did not see a fan...........I suppose it must
be close.
