I used to have a program that was supposed to be better than
SyncbackSE at the time but now I forgot it's name and can't seem to
find it (I thought I still had it). I admit its possible now that
SyncbackSE is better but I'd like to recall that other name to compare
myself now. I think Journey mentioned its name about 6 months or so
ago but perhaps that is of no help now. Any suggestions for programs
similar to SyncbackSE that you like better? No need to explain why as

Maybe found what I was looking for????
I think it is called ViceVersa but for some reason that doesn't ring
any bells so I don't know. I'll all ears (ok eyes) if any other

I use Second Copy for my backups and it works great for me but I never
did any comparison with other products. Not sure if that's what
you're looking for. If not, it was someone else that mentioned the
product you are looking for.

I use the program for one purpose, but it's very flexible for anyone
who needs a more complex backup process. I use it only to back up
relatively static volumes or folders to external USB drives. For
example, my iTunes music library backup is always backed up
automatically. I keep almost all of my installs on a hard disk, and
that is backed up automatically too. If you try it please post an
update to this thread letting us know if you find it useful.

If I decide to use it, I will. That said, if I don't, nothing
personal. I'm going to look at 4 or 5 choices but right now, not sure
my priorities except it has to be able to compare to an external drive
(I think many choices do that now). Other than that, I guess next
would be what I find easiest to read. What I like may not be the one
with the most features.
