Sometimes when I post a strong opinion something then happens to wake
me up!
Right after posting that "everything works with Vista" I ran into the
Real VNC setup problems.
I installed my WinTV PVR-USB2 tuner and the radio won't work under
Vista.
I also said that my preference for laptops is to not have a video
card. While it still is true, I overlooked something that people
might use their laptop for -- as a TV tuner / recorder, which means
Video might be played from the laptop to a large screen LED.
Anyway ...
The main point of this post is to recommend Beyond TV to anyone who
wants a "media center" type PC. It is better than Windows Media
Center 2005 and Vista Premium.
The interface can show a lot of the TV schedule, and has a verticle
line showing what time it currently is. It's easy to tap on one of
the late night shows to see who is appearing on it.
Tonight when I installed it, it was like it opened up the entire TV
options to me. I saw a Bruce Springsteen show, which I would normally
have not even known about.
Beyond TV has a 21 day trial and works with a lot of tuners.

Inotherwords " NOT everything works with Vista" is now more
appropriate? Of course for some the annoyance is tolerable, for
others it's not. I'll wait a little longer to get the WOW experience
<sarcasm intended>.
Anyway Journey appreciate your updates and your honesty.
thanks !!
