Default monitor prices

I am thinking about changing my monitor and looking at the Dell 24" range.

Why is the 2408WFP more expensive than the U2410. Is it a better quality
unit.

The 2408WFP is no longer for sale except in the refurbished at the outlet.

The 2408WFP is still being sold NEW by some dealers, those that bought large
stocks for low prices before Dell surprised them with the U2410. I only want
a good panel with twin digital inputs which both have and dont need all that
other unwanted extras. Sorta like buying a mobile phone with a camera,
music, tom-tom etc included.
