Default MediaDirect 4.0 is out

MediaDirect now no longer needs a separate partition - it is
installed as an app in the Vista partition. See:
http://support.dell.com/support/topi...n&toggle=false

Unfortunately, it has not been released for the XPS line of laptops
(according to Dell's tech reps), and there is no word if it will ever be
offered for the XPS line of laptops. For those laptops, which came
with version 3.5 or earlier, MediaDirect will continue to be a beast
of angst for those wanting to add partitions or to dual-boot their
systems.
