Default incoming emails bear the wrong time stamp

Dell laptop, Vista Home Premium, Thunderbird 2.0.0.9

BIOS clock and OS clock are both set properly, but
incoming emails are time stamped three hours later than
reality. That is, an email that is sent at 6PM appears
to have been sent at 9PM.

???

That was the problem. After a trip I forgot to reset it.

Thanks!
