Has anyone opened the Dell 1907FPc flat panel case?

Dell 1907FPc flat panel monitor.

I'm guessing the springy plastic bit behind the momentary contact
switch
to turn it on and off has broken and I'd like to get it open while
doing the
least amount of damage to the case.

The case has no screws. I used a butter knife prying against the edge
of
the plastic and managed to get a couple of the snaps to release along
the edge but that isn't enough to get it to open and all the rest of
the edges
seem much more resistant to being pried open.

Has anyone successfully opened one of these? Usually after having
found the way to get a case open it does a lot less damage the next
time opening the same kind of case.

I searched the net and didn't find any hits describing how to open it.

Not sure if it's of any use to you but on some of the laptop flat panels,
when I was working for Dell when we changed some the panels just came out as
they were easy enough to swap out, BUT SOME like the D400 for example they
came out including the top plastics and surround bezel alreqady complete, I
did take one apart once just to see and aswell as having scews holding the
bezel inplace and the snap connectors also had double sides sticky pads
which was were you get the most resistance, so maybe these monitor screens
too have the sticky pads inside?
