driver upgrade

I have dell e521,trying to upgrade broadband network driver I downloaded
from dell saved under dell drivers file,go into device manager pick location
of driver,(dell driver r149798),but refuse's to install,it says that I have
the best driver (which is an older driver )and also tried to uninstall
driver in device manager,windows XP automatically installs same old
driver,Help Thanks

Have you actually unzipped r149798 ? If not, click upon the file so as to
extract the actual driver and other files.
