Default does anyone know if?.................

Does anyone know off hand if Dell or anybody have come up with a way to play
rlu ray movies in Vista Ultimate 32 bit?
I know at 1st they said it couldn't be done, and then microsoft said it was
down to the software developers like Corel and Cyberlink - well I've dried
both and i still can't get them to play, I can get the opening menu but it
will not alow you to select play either by clicking on the play link or
right clicking and choose play from the contect menu, or anything else come
to that

I'm confused. Dell sells machines with Blu-Ray drives and Vista
Ultimate. Are you saying they won't play on those machines?

Yep apparently they can record to blu ray they can play other peoples blu
ray , but apparently MS in conjunction with the big media houses that own
the movie rights will not allow playing of pre recorded media like movies in
Vista any flavour 32 bit edition but it will play on 64 bit edition,
something to do with security in 32bit

How about this?
http://www.cyberlink.com/english/sup...leshooting.jsp
Q: Some Blu-ray Disc titles forbid using a mouse to control the selection of
content
A: Please use the keyboard instead of the mouse to control the selection
movements.

I just checked my system with the CyberLink BD advisor
http://www.cyberlink.com/english/sup.../diagnosis.jsp

and found that my computer is BD compliant except for the lack of a Blu-ray
disc drive and BD software player.
