Default digital flat panel

I have a digital flat panel but has both a dvi and vga port. I'm just
using the vga. Does this meen I'm getting just an analog system to my
monitor or is it still digital.

Thanks,
Chris

Default Re: digital flat panel

using the vga connector means that your computer (video card) is converting
the computers digital video signal into and analog vga signal that your
monitor is then converting back to a digital signal so that it can be
displayed. it works, but if you have a dvi port on your computer you should
be using it and would enjoy a better quality image on your screen.
