Default Dell monitor

Hi all,

I have a chance to buy a Dell 26" W2600 monitor at a great price. This is a
TV/Monitor. Will this work as a decent monitor?

Thanks

Default RE: Dell monitor

Depends on what you want to do. Resolution is 1280x768, which is a
little odd, so make sure your video card can handle it. Those are some
big pixels, so it's probably not the best choice for detail work. It's
several generations old too.

I wouldn't pay over $200 for it. For example, the 26" Vizio at WalMart
is a superior monitor/TV. 1366x768 and includes an NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner.
