Default Connection between the two parts of a laptop

I would like to know if the connection between the two parts (screen
and keyboard) of a laptop "Dell Inspiron" is by wire or radio?

The problem is the following:
I have sound in the ear-phones but I don't have sound on the speakers
when I disconnect the ear-phones.

Could some one help me? Thank you.

Wire. Actually a cable carrying many tiny wires... Ben Myers

Could you say to me if a cut would be possible on this cable because the
sound works on the ear-phones and not on the speakers ?

Some one already did this problem encounter ?

No, if its coming out of the headphones then the sound works , however if
someone has taken your laptop apart before then they might noty have plugged
the speakers in

On a laptop the speakers are integrated into the bottom of the screen.
Therefore, not possible to dismount them!!!

There are different cables for each major function (speakers,
keyboard, pointing device, and display) in most laptops, including
yours.

It is much more likely that you have a problem with the earphone plug
itself...this plug cuts off the speakers when you plug earphones into
it. The part of the plug that does this may have stopped working.

The speakers could be bad. It also would not hurt to check your mixer
settings to make sure they are set correctly. If you have an option
for "digital output only" this could cause built in speakers to play
nothing.

You are correct in that laptop speakers are integrated into a laptop's case
and cannot be dismounted. However, the speaker location on a laptop varies
by manufacturer and model. I have seen them mounted as you described (on
the lid below the screen), but also above the screen, and on the main case
just above the keyboard, or below the keyboard (my daughter's Acer) and just
under the front edge of the main case (my Vostro 1500.)
