Default Cleaning an inspiron 6000 screen...

Does anyone here know of a good product to
clean an inspiron 6000 screen. I bought some screen wipes from ebay
awhile ago but they left a streaking effect across the screen.

any input would be appreciated

thanks

I use a commercial "CRT Screen Care" spray from Chemical Industries, Inc. with a
lint-free cotton cloth on CRT monitors, notebook screens, and LCD screens. Not
a streak or mark. This is old stuff that I got at a bankruptcy auction several
years ago, and may not be available any more. The Blow-Off company sells this
sort of stuff, too... Ben Myers

Available most anywhere, dampen with warm water and shake excess water out:

Can also be used for camera lens and even reading glasses....

Only use a soft, cotton cloth and water. If you want to get picky, use only
distilled water. Never use cleaners like Windex. Ever.

I have to run, appointment, but there is no better product than
Monster iClean. You can find it on Amazon. I will post more about it
later. Usually I don't make strong claims about a product but this
one is totally amazing. More later .....

(if you look on Amazon and it seems expensive, the bottle lasts a long
time, probably years. It uses a very fine mist along with a great
"cloth". The mist is so fine it uses a very small amount)

My only objection to using plain water is that it does not remove some of the
horrendous greasy messes left on screens by unthinking users of computers.

OK people, listen up ... :-)

By far the best screen cleaner is Monster iClean.

Here is a link to it on Amazon. Be sure to read the user reviews:

Or a less expensive one. Be sure to read the user reviews:

Sure, it seems expensive, but really it's not, because one bottle will
last you forever. Also, with your monitor and other screens, isn't it
worthwhile to treat them well?

Here's how it works:

You push down on the top and it "mists" (not sprays) your LCD screen
or monitor (I have used it on PDAs and other things too.

Then you use the microfiber cloth and the monitor is perfect -- no
streaks or anything.

I am on my first bottle and it's probably 2 years old and only 1/3
used. This bottle might actually last me 5 years or more, and I use
it on 5 displays.

If someone does purchase this I look forward to your opinion.

I never have any worries now about what to use on my screens, or
disappointments if there are streaks -- the Monster iClean product
does the job wonderfully with absolutely no streaks.

I've always used an ammonia free glass cleaner from a company called
Sprayway. (Can be purchased at Costco)

I use it for all my screens and have never had a problem.
