No, what you want is the biggest clock you can find anywhere and a car
battery. Glue the clock to the computer, but take the battery out of
it first. Hook the car battery up so the clock runs really, really
fast.
Your computer is now overclocked. You may need to keep a stockpile of
clocks handy, as this mod tends to be rather short-lived with most of
them. And given that most of the clocks you will find contains
movements with no (0) jewels and are unadjusted, you will have more
crashes than normal.

Dear Louie,
Firstly, you don't see the obvious stupidity and contradiction in what
you're recommending to this poster and others. If a user with any gray
matter wants to overclock, with any sensible amount of reading and research
they'll know that they should either build or have a rig built that can
easily do so from within BIOS.
Secondly, you have no idea about what I know or what I don't know.
Therefore, coupled with your really stupid advice to this individual (who,
if they get it WRONG will wind up with a system board and/or CPU
replacement - or a really big doorstop) .......I'm left to conclude that
you're an arrogant, know-it-all arsehat.

Coming to this thread late, but I chuckled when I saw the auto ref.
