Has anyone been able to successfully update their gfx drivers for one
of the above to a more recent driver direct from AMD/ATI ?
I've tried a couple of times, the most recent being a couple of months
ago, and it craps out, saying there is no suitable card for the
drivers.
In the process, it (tries to) installs the ATI tweak util, which then
causes major problems as that too fails to install, but insists it
wants to every time you right click with the mouse :-}
IIRC the most recent drivers Dell list for it are from about 2006

The only Dell I own that came with the 600 was an "X600 SE" that I
suspect was unique to Dell.
Piece of CR**.
The machine had integrated video. I use that. It's better, sad to say.
