Default ALPS Touchpad Upgrade

I've had this Inspiron 6000 for almost 2 years. It's been an excellent
machine except for the touchpad. I always had to press two and three times
to communicate with it. No settings I tried made a difference.

Maybe its been around for a while, but I discovered an update for the ALPS
and it has made a huge difference, no more double touches. I wish I'd found
it sooner. It's version 5.4.104.4

Just thought this might help someone.
