I was asking the same thing in a couple of posts up. I went by Best Buy this
evening to see one up close. It is really small. I would love to have one
just to surf the web with. But I'm not going to part with my 15.4" display.
I dont think I could get by without the higer resolution. But the 1330 sure
did look sweet. The touch sensative audio controls were pretty cool. It was
soooo lite. Like picking up a little portable dvd player.

I'm a first-time buyer of a laptop, and I bought the XPS M1330.
To my untrained arms, it is heavy - I'd hate to lug it around an airport
or carry it with luggage on a vacation. If it were any heavier, I'd consider
it a "dekstop replacement luggable". I guess I'm a ready buyer for a
laptop with an organic semiconductor screen or semiconductor bulk
storage - anything to make it lighter.

I've got an older Dell C610, but because of the same reasons I now also have
an Asus eeePC 701. 2gbRAM, 4gbHD, 4gbSD running Win XP Home.

I got a used ThinkPad X60s, and had a X61, which was stolen. The
Lenovo ThinkPad 12" X60/61's are easy to carry everywhere and the
keyboard is still tops -- full size and ThinkPad quality.
I'd get an Apple MacBook Air in an instant if it had a replaceable
battery. The new aluminum MacBooks due out within the next several
months may come close enough.
