mother board is a D945GCL
was wondering if Dual Channel 4096MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory (2 x 2048MB) would actully work on this board tried asking gateway and instead of giveing me an answer they just try and sell me there over priced ram

Note that although the board will support up to 4Gb, unless you are running a 64 bit operating system, it will only recognize up to 3Gb.
It's a pain I know, but RAM is dirt cheap at the moment anyway, and you can't buy 1.5Gb memory sticks! lol
